She rather enjoyed the spot in the back of the classroom as it gave her a clear view of everything that went on in the room. It had been a rather interesting day, instead of the old man who had always taught the history class, a young man had taken his place and Masu stared at him intently, shifting her attention to a notebook that was in front of her every once in a while as she drew something that kept a smirk on her face.
She was a rather small girl compared to the rest of the students in the class. Most of the students had a natural hair color, but hers was dyed platinum. Her skin was slightly pale. And her eyes were a mix of various shades of blue and grey. So compared to everyone else in the classroom, she was quite the sight to behold.
She wore the average uniform that every other girl was wearing, a white dress shirt, dark blue sweater, and a short brown skirt. Dangling around her neck was a necklace that held a ring. The ring was black, with a grey stone that encased a roman numeral for one that was a darker side of the grey that surrounded it. On the inner circle, the words Sky Grigori Ring was engraved. She kept it on her person almost at all times because she was paranoid someone would steal it if it wasn't in her possession and it looked like a normal ring to everyone else. Someone would have to be very close to see the words that were engraved in it and it was rare for someone to get that close to her anyway, so she didn't worry.
The smirk on her face grew wider and she mouthed the phrase, ta-da! She looked at her finished masterpiece with her cheshire grin as the teacher spoke to the classroom. It was a drawing of a Narwhal, one of the best animals in her opinion, and the new teacher clinging to it's horn for safety. It was rather detailed for a drawing, looking professional to her. She knew that she should've been paying attention to the speech, but she had been farther ahead than most of the students in the classroom.
She gazed outside the window, looking at the town she had lived in most of her life. It was a sunny day and sunny days bored her greatly, which is probably why she decided to draw a picture of the new teacher. She turned her head to gaze at it once again, a bored expression going across her face as she looked up at the new teacher. She inspected him closely, stroking her chin as she did so. It was rather odd that a new teacher arrived in the middle of the year, it was almost rare for that to happen. That fact roused her curiosity even more, her old information-gathering curiosity.

The teacher stood with his back to the class, writing things on the board as well as saying what needed to be said. He wore his usual teaching attire, a completely black suit. Right then the class was on the Tokogawa period of Japan, one of Nox’s favorite. He had the majority of the notes written on the board and his back had been to the class since basically class had begun. Very rarely did he turn around. For all he knew, they could be texting or what have you. Nox trusted them though, well… he wanted to trust them to do the right thing. Surely some of them were actually taking notes, as for the others… He couldn’t say.
Occasionally, he’d stop writing and catch a glimpse of his Shimon Famiglia Earth Ring. That ring was the reason he was here. The reason he was who he was. The boss of Shimon. Before he could get lost in his thoughts, he had to do something to snap himself back into reality. He turned around to say something, but also to inspect the class. Alright, so how’s this all clicking for you guys? Any questions? I’m thinking tomorrow’s class might be something special. Maybe a movie or something. Just something to help you all get a better idea of this period in time. Nox said with a slight laugh to his class. He scanned the room as he spoke and sure enough… A few people were sleeping, a few were just putting away their phones, and one person was drawing. It was someone in the back of the room.
The teacher massaged his temples some before sighing. Sadly, some of these kids are going to have to learn the hard way that school is important, especially in the competitive society of Japan. Maybe he was being too lax with the students. He rarely gave homework and when he did, it was something extremely easy. His tests weren’t hard either. Maybe that was the problem, he wasn’t being strict enough. Well… Might as well start.
Nox walked up the isles to the desk of one Fukazawa Masuyo, the girl who was drawing and gazing out the window from time to time. He looked down at the girl’s desk at her work of art and sighed softly. A narwhal? And is that me hanging onto the horn? Ms. Fukazawa, surely you can’t dislike me that much already? Nox said to the girl before taking the picture off of her desk and returning to his podium. And come see me at the end of the day, I’d like to talk to you, Ms. Fukazawa. And to the rest of you, if I catch you with your head down, you’ve signed your own detention. I’m a pretty nice guy and assign you all very little to do. The least I deserve is some respect. The dark teacher said before he stood at his podium and continued his lecture.

But Fukazawa Masuyo had stayed behind and walked slowly through the halls with a destination, to the history classroom. As she found herself at the door, she gently opened it and peered inside to find the teacher at his deck and her notebook on the desk. She didn't care about the notebook that much as it didn't have that much information in it, just several drawings.
She walked slowly towards his desks, her steps echoing through the classroom and her necklace dangling with every step. "Gomensai, Alas-sensei," she said in apology as she bowed gently then continued what she was saying, glancing at his ring. "In 1651, Shogun Iemitsu died at the age of 47. And nearly 30 years later in 1680, his son Tsunayoshi became the shogun." she said, stating the names of the men boldly. Anyone would recognize the names of the men from their history lessons, but only certain individuals would notice the hidden meaning behinds the names she had stated.
She gazed at the window, smiling at the beautiful spring scenery as she continued. "Have you ever maybe considered, that Tsunayoshi never wanted to become a shogun at first?" Although she fully knew that this wasn't the case as the shogun probably wanted it more than anything, who could resist the idea of leadership? If Masuyo had known who the anonymous sender of the packages was, she would give them the tile of Tairō as Shogun Tsunayoshi had given to Hotta Masatoshi.
"Though I'd Immediately revoke the title of Tairō from Hotta Masatoshi if I knew my spouse would end up killing me and then offing herself afterwards." she said, putting a hand on her chest to feel the ring that dangled from a chain. The things she was stating to him were things that they would study next week, things that weren't said to the class yet, things she studied beforehand. But the were also things that people with mafia connections would know, and as she eyed the ring he wore she knew he had some connection.
"I tend to study about my country before and after school Alas-sensei, because it interests me how some events and the people involved can mirror that of another event with different people who are similar at the same time." she still fumbled the ring around in her hand, practically showing the numeral for one that was in the stone to the teacher. She smiled at her teacher. This is a conversation between historians, she reminded herself so she wouldn't bluntly say things.

The school bell rang and classes were over, but unfortunately Nox couldn’t return home for the night. He had to wait so he could talk to one of his students, Ms. Fukazawa. She was drawing in class and obviously not paying attention. Nox didn’t really have anything to talk about her with other than the contents of her picture, he just wanted to set the example for the rest of the class. Maybe they’d see him as less of a doormat if he actually punished someone. The dark teacher tapped his fingers on the cover of the girl’s notebook, which sat on his desk. His feet were up and he was facing the door, waiting.
Then the door swung open and in walked Ms. Fukazawa. She did gain “brownie points” because she walked in and instantly apologized. At least she didn’t walk in and start blaming him or anything. It showed humility and Nox liked that. It’s what followed that was troublesome. The girl began to speak on what he was teaching in class, and not just what was that day’s class, but also what was the week coming’s class. She was good. And how she spoke was the real troublesome part. It was as if she knew of Vongola Decimo and everything surrounding that. I’m sorry, Ms. Fukazawa, but Tsunayoshi craved to be Shogun. Maybe somewhere in his heart, he didn’t want it, but on the outside he did. Nox said in reply to the girl’s statement, trying to not give away that he knew what she was talking about completely.
Nox listened contently to the girl’s speech, taking in every word and analyzing it in a different way. It was as if she were speaking in a code that only someone who knew too much or was tied to Vongola could decipher. They had to be a historian of course. He was almost releaved when she stopped talking, but tensed a bit when she showed him the ring she wore around her neck. Standard Famiglia ring with a roman numeral one in it. The stone inside was grey though. No indication of her flame whatsoever. Come hai fatto a scoprire tutto questo? Nox spoke as he rubbed his head. He swapped from Japanese to Italian in hopes that she wouldn’t understand. Well… I just ask you to please pay attention from now on. Set the example for the rest of the class. You’re obviously extremely studious. The teacher said with a small sigh before looking at the girl. Why did she have to be in a Famiglia too? She was just going to get hurt. He just hoped that she wasn’t a crime Famiglia. Maybe she was like Shimon, a Famiglia for justice.
Take a seat. We’ll chat. Nox said with a small smile. He was going to have to use historical speak to get his point across without anyone else being able to understand. Let’s speak of Shogun Ienobu. As you might imagine, there were plenty of groups that rose against what he was trying to do as the sixth shogun, and then there were those who tried to support him in everything he did. In my mind, he was a great man and tried to do many good things, which is why I would support him, but what about you, Ms. Fukazawa? Would you be for or against him?

She nodded as he answered her question about Tsunayoshi and grinned another cheshire grin as she did earlier that day with her drawing. It was obvious that he knew that this conversation had two meanings, one about the line of Shoguns and another about the long line of Vongola. Her grin grew as he tensed up, looking at the ring she was fumbling around with. All according to plan so far, she sighed in relief.
How did you find out about all this? he asked, hiding the question with Italian. He probably thought that she wouldn't know the language, but she knew quite a bit after researching as she slowly created her Famiglia. "Sfondo ricerca, insegnante." she answered back in Italian, knowing full well that anyone passing by wouldn't understand unless they knew the language. He looked at her ring as he rubbed his head, probably trying to figure out what her flame was. This delighted her as she loved being mysterious. She nodded as he told her to become an example to the other students in the classroom, "I'll try my best, Alas-sensei."
She took a seat as he wanted, listening closely to what he was saying. She nodded knowingly as she listened to him, figuring that the next shogun he mentioned who was the nephew of Shogun Tsunayoshi who did try to change the country for the best was would translate to the next in line to carry on the ideals of the Vongola. He basically asked if she would stand for or against this new generation, which she put some considerable thought into. She had created the Osservatore Famiglia with the goal of keeping information on other Families and using the information to prevent bad situations, which was similar to what Sawada Tsunayoshi did.
"Change is something that splits a nation into two separate groups. One group detests the change and will do anything and everything to put a stop to the change even if it's good. And those who fully welcome who are militant to defend the change from any opposition." she began, looking at the sky through the window, it was quite a beautiful day. "The changes that Shogun Ienobu brought changed Japan for the better. Any change that will make my beloved country a better place I will gladly stand for, Alas-sensei."
She smiled, hoping her answer would show that she was an ally and not an enemy. "Alas-sensei, my favorite color is orange, how about yours?" she asked with another cheshire grin.

Post by Jae Won Kim on Apr 22, 2012 23:02:38 GMT -5
Jae was doing his usual routine; skipping classes, eating, and screwing around in the school. While he may not look like it and act like it, he is actually smart enough to skip a year. The only reason he didn't is because he didn't want to work more. He was wearing the school uniform as he was walking through the halls, looking out the window and sighing. The only thing that was on his mind at the moment was the weird event that happened to him a few days back.
As he was chilling at his home, playing on the computer and chatting with friends, someone knocked on the door. When he went to open it, the only thing in front of him was a package. It was rather small and not in a box; it was wrapped in some sort of expensive-looking material. He looked around for the person who dropped it in front of his house to no anvil. He just sighed and picked it up, shutting the door and placing it on the kitchen table nearby. His gut was saying not to open it, but he, being the curious guy he always was, decided to go against his gut. Inside was a white rose, a fancy box, and an envelope. He ripped open the envelope and read its contents rather quickly. "What the... Hrm..." Jae put down the letter and opened the box next to it. In it was a ring with an intricate design; the gemstone was grey and the roman numeral for one was engraved. When he tried it on, it suddenly glowed. Jae covered his eyes, but when he looked back, it turned into a light and soothing shade of blue. He took another look at the letter and read the date and the location written on it. "Ehhh... Nice. I guess I'll have to stay after school a bit." When he took it off, the gem on it turned into it's dull grey color. He just smiled and put it in his pocket as he continued up the stairs to his room.
When Jae reached the classroom, he was about to knock on it until he heard Masuyo and Nox speak. Having heard of the whole chat about the Vongola started to make him wonder what he was getting himself into. He took out the ring from his pocket and looked at it. He then grasped it tightly and smirked. Looks like life's gonna get complicated. Not that I don't mind. Jae opened the door and saw Nox and Masuyo. "Eh? Mr. Nox? What're you doing here...?"

Damn. This girl spoke Italian as well. That complicated things more and more. She learned what she had via research, or so she said. At least she was polite about all of this. That was one thing Nox could not say about her. That she was not polite. She even agreed to try to at least appear to focus in class. Major bonus points. That was all Nox really asked of her, class wise. The darkly dressed teacher adjusted how he sat in his chair as he spoke to the girl some more, and she listened contently. Another good quality about her. She seemed patient and legitimately caring. A refreshing breeze in a world that was typically full of “my boyfriend hasn’t texted in 5 minutes, he must hate me” girls.
As payment for listening contently to what Nox had to say, Nox listened contently to what Fukazawa had to say. They were still speaking in their code, so it sounded like History. Talking about Tokogawa period shogun and if they liked them or not was what could only be called an ideal code. It masked what they said nearly flawlessly.
Nox breathed a sigh of relief when Fukazawa finished what she had to say. She was on his side. Well… the side of Vongola, so yes, on his side. I’m quite glad to hear that, Ms. Fukazawa. Nox said with a smile. Then Fukazawa said something that caught him by surprise. Her favorite color was orange. He couldn’t take that at face value, because of the conversation they had been having until now. It meant something deeper. Orange. Orange. Orange Flames. The colorless stone. She had a Sky Flame. How to reply though? Nox’s flame was also orange. More scarlet, but that color was ugly.
Orange is a nice color, Ms. Fukazawa. While we’re stating random things about ourselves, you know, I’ve always been quite interested in this Earth we walk on. Nox said in reply, putting a little extra stress on the word Earth, and hoping she got it. Not enough to be obvious to anyone, but just enough to get his point across.
Then his door slid open again. Yet another of his students entered, but not as respectfully. First off, he didn’t knock. Second, he didn’t bow. Third, he asked why Now was there. And fourth, he called Nox by his first name. The teacher sighed some and rubbed his forehead. Just when he had found someone to talk to on the intellectual level. Sanae was always fun to talk to, but she was mute. I’d certainly hope I was in my own classroom, Mr. Kim. A better question being, why are you here? And to students, I am Mr. Alas. Please get that right. Nox said with a slight sigh as he leaned back in his chair some, his feet still on his desk. Why was one of his other students here? He didn’t ask to see anyone else.

Masuyo watched as the history teacher listened to what she had to say and stating that he was glad that she would support the Shogun's cause. When she stated her favorite color, a code for her Dying Will flame, he took a bit of time to think about it before he finally answered her. She smiled as he answered her, stating that he was very interested in the Earth they walked on. She was dealing with the Shimon Famiglia boss, she bit her lip gently, she might've been crushed instantly if she answered the previous question wrong.
"Of course, Alas-sensei. The Earth is a very interesting place, having much history. From the Pyramids in Egypt, to the rise and fall of Communism in Russia. I was thinking of becoming a History teacher when I'm old enough. Teaching ancient history to the young sounds very appealing. There always has to be someone to pass on the stories of old, so bad events like World War 2 will never repeat. Well, that is my personal resolve for wanting to become a History teacher, what was yours?" She finished, wiping strands of platinum hair from her face as the door suddenly opened, turning her head to see who it was.
Her facial expression still held a charming smile, gazing at the young man who marched into the room to disturb a conversation between historians. She listened to her teacher as he answered the young man's question to why he was here. Teachers have work even when the bell has rung, Baka-kun, she thought to herself as she held a hand over her mouth to conceal the smirk that went across her face. "Kim-san, addressing a teacher by their first name isn't showing respect to them." Why not try being an example to other students right now? She did say she would try her best.
She turned her head to gaze out the window as she sorted through her thoughts to find a way to talk about this situation. "Alas-sensei, as you were saying. The Earth we walk on is rather interesting, the weather can change in a split second. One moment it could be sunny, the next it can be a powerful rain that could possibly flood towns." as he had stressed the Earth, she had stressed the rain. She made the sentence seem casual, making sure that Kim wouldn't realize what they were talking about. He didn't know her quite well. But Masuyo knew a lot about the young man who walked through the door only moments earlier, as she had chosen him.

When Jae barged into the room, he saw Nox and Masuyo in the classroom. Nox had an annoyed look on his face and after hearing Nox's comments on Jae's "spectacular" entrance, Jae kind of blushed and bowed down. "S-Sorry Mr. Alas. I thought this classroom was empty. I was actually planning on meeting somebody here, but I had no clue you were still here." As Jae finished, Masuyo began to give him a little lecture too. Jae had little to no clue who she was, but saw she was taking some pleasure at seeing him getting reprimanded. He got a little annoyed, but shrugged it off when he thought about why she was here. Probably got busted for something. Or maybe she's asking for help. Bah, whatever. It's none of my business. Jae turned to Nox and bowed down again. "I'm sorry Mr. Alas. It won't happen again."
As Jae was about to take his leave, Masuyo spoke. "Alas-sensei, as you were saying. The Earth we walk on is rather interesting, the weather can change in a split second. One moment it could be sunny, the next it can be a powerful rain that could possibly flood towns." Jae stopped to listen to her speech, glancing back at her. Know-it-all... He was about to leave near the end of her speech until she emphasized rain. Something clicked inside his head. He quickly took out the letter he got a few days back and read its contents again. He then unfurled his hand with the ring and took a good look at it. Wait a sec... This can't mean... Jae folded the letter and put it in his pockets as he turned around to Masuyo. He then took the ring and put it in between his index finger and thumb, showing it off at Masuyo, making it so that the roman numeral faces her. "So you're the one. Am I right?"

Nox smiled softly to himself as he listened to Masuyo and her look on history. Apparently she wanted to be a history teacher as well, which was quite interesting to Nox. Seeing someone who wanted to be a teacher was refreshing. And her reasoning behind it was fantastic. Then she asked why Nox became a teacher. That was an interesting question to answer, actually. As he was the leader of a mafia Famiglia, he had no reason to teach. IT was because of his Famiglia that he taught though. Well… I became a teacher to make sure that future generations knew of the truths of history and were willing to embrace change. Nox said with a small smile. He was enjoying this conversation. Then Kim-kun entered and Nox gave him his talking to. Funnily enough, Masuyo also had some input on the matter. She was setting the example, as asked. Although, Nox couldn’t be too mad at Kim-kun, for he did apologize and had a good reason to just pop in. Even if anyone could hear the talking. Kim-kun reassured Nox that it wouldn’t happen again. A good hope for change.
Worry not, Kim-kun. It happens to everyone. Just don’t make it a habit. Nox said to the boy with a small smile. He did enjoy being around his students sometimes, as most of them were actually interesting. As opposed to the majority of adults in the world. Most adults have had their fun crushed up and spit out. At least kids were interesting.
Nox turned his attention to Masuyo once again, as she began to talk again. This time about the rain. So… Kim-kun was her rain guardian. She certainly knew how to pick them. Yes, rain is quite interesting. The weather itself is interesting, as well. All the science behind it. Nox said in reply to Masuyo’s statement, adding a small nod with it as if to say that he understood. What happened next surprised him, when the thought he was through with surprises for the day. Kim-kun just pulled out his ring and showed it to Masuyo, saying that she was the one. Anyone would think that he was proposing to her. What are you talking about, Kim-kun? If you’re proposing, please… do it romantically at least. Nox said to the male, feigning ignorance. He then reached across his desk and grabbed Masuyo’s notebook and handed it back to her. Masuyo, I would like to hear about your picture as well. Nox said with a slight laugh, more of a chuckle. How this was turning out was proving to be potentially difficult.

Masuyo had a real interest in becoming a History teacher, as it was her favorite subject. But she was destined to live the life of a sky that understands and accepts all. She glanced at her ring that dangled from her chain, she was chosen for that purpose. She gazed at her Rain Guardian, watching his facial expression as he heard her state rain. This one was rather clever, but Masuyo could sweep all of the troubles of this situation under a bed.
He took the letter she had addressed to him and glanced over it, taking out the ring and beginning to hold it to her face and ask her if she was the one. She heard the teacher's comment about proposing and caused Masuyo's calm and collected facial expression to turn into a bright blush before she forced the serious look back on. "Hmm," she put a finger next to her lips as she hummed a thinking tune, "I'm not sure what to say Kim-san. I'm not sure the name Kim Masuyo sounds appealing to me, it makes me sound foreign. Besides, I already have my eyes set on a certain individual." she stated, slightly blushing to the thought of who she had liked. But, all that needs to be stated is that he was a very dreamy boy, very serious and heroic. Masuyo liked heroic guys. "Besides, I'm too young to be thinking about marriage and dating. Well, maybe if you got a diamond one I would reconsider," she said with a wink towards the Baka-kun.
The teacher grabbed her notebook and handed it to her. He wanted to talk about what she had drawn in it. "Yes, Lawliet-kun," she stated humorously as she referenced a popular manga series. She flipped through the pages slowly, gazing at her previous works of art. The pictures were of multiple styles, that was the one thing that stood out the most in this notebook. Some pictures were simple sketches of scenery, portraits, fanart of manga, and her own original characters she had created herself. "Ah, Alas-sensei," she began in an excited tone as she flipped through the art and then finally to the Narwhal picture. "In my opinion, I think the Narwhal is the most mysterious animal in the world. Not much is known about what they do or where they go, and I envy that. I wish I had the power to go through the darkest depths of the Earth to avoid human detection, then perhaps I could take down the foundations of our world and reset them."
She smiled, it was rather common for kids her age wanting to change the world in some way, hers was just bigger. "And the handsome individual in the picture clinging to the Narwhal for dear life is someone I find to be just as mysterious as the animal. Our old sensei leaving suddenly in the middle of the semester and a new teacher arriving in his place, a teacher who suddenly resparked my old desire to learn when I thought it would never return." She smiled, hoping it would be a good answer.

When Jae said what he did, he didn't catch himself until he was too late. Normally, people would crash after making a mistake like that and realizing it. However, after hearing Masuyo's response to his terse comment, Jae was starting to get angry. He knew that she was the one who was behind it all: the letter, the ring, the rose. Everything, and yet she's acting dumb like she's some innocent bystander, not involved in anything. What made him even more angry was the fact that Nox believed her. Jae didn't know that Nox was related with the mafia, but felt that he had enough common sense to see that he wasn't proposing.
His veins were popping out from his neck and his forehead, but still tried to keep calm. His face remained straight, but his normal, light gaze that had the power to loosen up people turned into a harsh, cruel glare that can strike fear into even the toughest of men. He shoved the ring into his pocket and went to his seat. It was located in the back corner opposite to the windows. He crudely plopped down into his seat and put his feet up on top of the desks. He then took out a lollipop from his other pocket, unwrapped the wrapping, and popped it into his mouth. Tch... Who the hell does she think she is? Trying to calm himself down, he shaped his right hand like he was holding a lighter using the wrapper and flicked his thumb repeatedly in two second intervals. Blue rain flames appeared every other time he flicked his thumb, but he didn't care. Calm down... Calm down... They're just messin' with me... His eyes were still rough, but his veins started receding back slowly.

Nox listened as Masuyo followed what he had said to Kim-kun with something almost equally sarcastic. She was delightfully good at this. Potentially someone Nox would enjoy talking with more. Not in a creepy way, but because they seemed to be on the same level intellectually. Which was refreshing. That and Masuyo seemed to not really care when and if Nox was a little socially awkward. That seemed to bother people sometimes. Then again, a socially awkward teacher was… different.
Kim-kun was turning out to be full of surprises. Typically he seemed so calm and peaceful. To see his veins pop out of his neck and forehead was a surprise indeed. Then to watch him storm off to where his desk was made it all the more interesting. While he was there, he broke quite a few rules of being in Nox’s class room. For one, he was eating a sucker, and there was no food allowed. Next he had his feet on the desk, which was also not allowed. And finally he was using his flames. For someone who was supposed to represent the tranquility of the Famiglia, to get so angry so fast was different.
Nox listened to Masuyo again, having handed her the notebook. Nox was still in his usual position, his legs up on his desk, but while he listened to Masuyo’s description of why she drew what she did, he decided to take off his suit jacket and fold it over the desk. Fukazawa was one of two things. Either incredibly deep, or a very good bullshitter. Her reasoning for why she drew a narwhal and why Nox himself was hanging onto its horn was impeccable. It all had to do with mystery. She did say one thing that irked him a bit. Wanting to “take down the foundations of our world and reset them” as she put it. What did she mean by that? It would seem Nox still had to keep an eye on this one.
She was apparently interested in the mystery of Nox Alas, as a person. Why did he take over half way through the year? What a student would normally ask, of course. What happened to our old teacher? Well, the old teacher was… released and they hired me to take his place. As simple as that. I don’t know why he was. Nox said with a small laugh before adding something else. So asking me why he was let go is a waste of time. He added with a soft smile before removing his feet from his desk and crossing his right leg over his left and rested his chin on his fist. He sat as if he were on a throne. But I am quite glad I resparked your desire to learn. Maybe you can translate that into something good. Now, you may leave if you wish, I’ve talked with you about what I needed. We could continue to talk though, if you’d like. I have nowhere to be. Nox said to the girl before letting his eyes scan the room some. He kept checking on Kim-kun. Making sure Kim wasn’t doing anything too obvious with his flames. That would certainly be difficult to explain away.

Her observant eyes looked at where he sat, put his feet on the top of the desk and took out a lollipop. She smiled lightly, a loving smile, and coughed a bit to get Kim-san's attention. "Kim-san, I don't know where those shoes have been and as a lady, I kindly ask for you to put your feet down." She spoke to Kim-san, smiling widely at him and putting stress on the word down but she made it sound friendly enough and not like a command. Though, she rather enjoyed bossing people around, it made her feel powerful. But she found power is worthless when it is gained through aggression, revolutions happen that way, so she was careful when she gave orders.
She turned her head back to the teacher, listening to the reason of why he was there. Though, it wasn't a very descriptive reason but it was enough for now. She tapped a finger on her chin as she determined if she'd either stay or leave. It was still sunny outside so she decided she'd rather stay. "I'd rather stay, Alas-sensei," she answered. "Did you know Alas-sensei," she began and muttered the next half of the sentence in well-spoken Italian, "Non v’è rosa senza spina?" She spoke as she turned the pages of the notebook to a drawing of a rose, surrounded by several colored roses. The only thing making it distinct from the other flowers was it's lack of color, it was pure white. "Roses with colors have meanings. Red being lust and pink being an expression of admiration. Though if you grip the rose wrong, it would rather hurt wouldn't it, Alas-sensei?"
"One Rose caught my attention when I was younger. My mother runs a flower shop, so when I was a little girl I would help her around the store. At one corner of the store were bouquets, some with one color of rose and some with multiple colors. On them were tags that held the price but also had a side that described the meanings of the color that were in the bouquets. One of them explained the meaning of a white rose. It represents a beginning, Alas-sensei," she smiled as she gazed outside the window as she thought of her old memories, "A rose represents something and the thorns represent the pain that comes along with it. The pain of lust. The pain of admiration. The pain of beginning," she looked at him once again.
"If one was to attempt to take down the foundations of our world and reset them, they would gain the support of millions or the anguish of even more. There will always be a negative and positive reaction of doing something. For example, the angels flew down from the glorious heavens to mate with humans are find endless love, but were quickly banished from the gates of heaven for sinning. They were fallen. I believe they were called the Grigori, correct me if I'm wrong. The beginning of something can be great but if you grip it wrong, the thorns will make it hurt," she stated eerily, making sure her back was facing Kim-kun and that he wouldn't see what she was about to do, she slipped her ring on and the gemstone suddenly became an orange color. "Don't you find it interesting, Alas-sensei?"

Jae was starting to calm down a bit. His veins started receding from his neck and forehead and he stopped flicking his flames on and off. His glare was still harsh, but his body loosened up considerably. Just as he was about to fully calm down, Masuyo started to comment on his behavior. "Kim-san, I don't know where those shoes have been and as a lady, I kindly ask for you to put your feet down." Jae just scoffed at this remark and rolled his eyes. Wow... Really? You? Lady-like? Psh, I've seen dogs more polite than you. Jae just took out his lollipop from his mouth and pretended to observe it, ignoring Masuyo's "polite" command, and repositioned his feet in a manner that made it clear he wasn't listening. It was his own discreet way of saying "F*** off."
While it may seem he has lost interest, he was actually listening intently, due to his great curiosity. After hearing the Italian bit, he just stared at Masuyo. While Italian wasn't his native language, he could still speak and understand enough to survive in Italy. His vast knowledge of Korean, Japanese, English, and Italian has served him well back in America and it was certainly going to help him now. Oh? So you think you can throw me off by speaking Italian? Looks like you don't know me that well signora. He listened as this conversation continued on and started processing what was going on his his mind. To anyone else, it seemed as if he was day dreaming or staring at the ceiling completely bored.
