Well, I jokingly mentioned it a few times in Leon, so I figured now was the time to suggest it seriously. I think maybe there should be a reward of some kind for members who recruit people to the site. Not anything huge, of course, maybe 10-15 FV per, and they'd need something to serve as proof, like having the recruited person confirm, or something. Whaddya think?

Pfft, I'm working on it, yo! I'll add a thread on rewards sooner or later, but not right now because my hands are full... Will surely put on my to-do list though. c:

Awesome. It'll count ones do before the implementation, ja?

Ehhhh, feels like the kind of thing where someone'll poof in get a bonus of FV and then poof out again IMO it feels too exploitable, might need to add a minimum post count for the referred.

Of course, Night! We'll count those before the rewards are given~
But as Niku said, the people you recruit would need to post maybe around five posts, at least? If I see they're more active than that ICly, then you'd get the rewards for sure.

Idk about the reward being that much, personally. Then it's like... I could just recruit a TON of people and only have to post when I'm already uber. I'm with Niku on this one. Way to exploitable. I'm of the "if you want something, work for it" mentality.

While that chain of thought is amiable, it makes it harder for those who are unable to post as often as others, such as those who get writers block a lot, or those with difficult schedules, and it favors those who can post repeatedly in a short time. This is just a little stimulus on the side, not meant to be a main source of income.

Thats true but if you get just two members to join, wrack up 5 posts each you get 30 fv, equivalent to 6 posts. If you still wanna implement it I'd say go lower, like 5 fv. Its not big enough that it'd make a major effect and it'd be easier to post than recruit a load of people so should be less exploitable. While I can follow your reasoning of not everyone can post or gets writer's block, I dun think there should be a different way to wrack up a lot of FV without ever needing to post again, just my opinion

I follow what you're saying night, trust me. But once again, I must side with Niku on this cause he makes fantastic points. A "recruit a friend" system works for some cases, but I don't know about getting paid for recruiting people. I don't think it would work.

Like what Niku said, I was thinking 5fv per active recruit* if it's gonna be "a little stimulus on the side"... and you're basically getting three posts worth for each recruit if it's 15fv per, which is a more than "a little stimulus". :c
And if Writer's Block is hindering your ability to post, I'm sure 5fv per active recruit would make up for one of your posts, amirite? :3
* By active recruit, I mean posting at least 5 times or more within a one week period~
