A young boy strode out from the pick up window of a burger joint with two bags in his hands. He was buffeted a bit by the people in the way as he walked over to give his favorite Guardian their order. "You can go home now," he said, his hand outstretched offering the bag, "I can take it from here. Good work today. By all means, though, stay." To the normal eavesdropper, it would appear that they had finished working on some school project or something of the sort but the young boy was referring to something far more dangerous. They were vigilantes, the same kids who had made a fool out of a group of hoodlums a mere ten minutes ago depsite being radically outmanned and out aged. It helped to be able to channel Dying Will Flames. After dispatching the delinquents, the two sped towards the city to diffuse into the bustling cityscape to elude any pursuers. [/style]There was a planter in front of a busy looking building. He sat upon it and opened the bag to retrieve his food. A small bird perched on the boy's head as he ate his hamburger. To call it his pet would be an understatement. Like a machine performing some repetetive task he brought fries up to the bird, who ate it quickly and waited anxiously for the next. He finished his meal and prepared to go home thinking his day was over. But it was not, in fact it had just begun. TEMPLATE BY CIPHER |
